Pool Party Wrap-up

What a great day for a pool party. The weather was hot and sunny and the pool, a sparking blue just beckoning all to jump in.
There were 35 members and guests most of them ready for a swim. I didn’t bring my bathing suit but Roy did and he jumped right in. It was great to see all the guys and gals having fun in the pool. All that was missing was the sound of camp songs to complete the picture. Fun. fun, fun that’s what it’s all about.
Steve and Melissa’s yard is just a perfect setting for summer fun. It felt like being at a fine resort. Of course the food and drinks they provided was over the top. Steve took many pictures of the bathing beauties and elite men of SSCC dressed in their finest bathing attire. The sight was something else. President Terry in his straw hat looked like Indiana Jones himself.
It was so great to have Rita and Joe with us. They looked great in their new 2002 blue roadster. Joe says he is feeling much better. Mal took the prize for best looking diva in her unique beach wear.
Jack and Joanne Horigan attended and it was great to see them. Jack had surgery a few weeks ago and he says he is feeling great. We all enjoyed a fun day. Everything was over he top, another successful activity of SSCC. Thank you Steve and Melissa for your hospitality. More Pool Party photos can be seen here.
