June Meeting Wrap-up
South Shore Corvette Club has become a club that should be the envy of many others. Every meeting, every gathering is attended by people who genuinely like each other and enjoy the club's activities. Our June club meeting was another example of what this club has become. Our "cookie night" was well attended, and the cookies were phenomenal. We were fortunate to have a master at pinstriping, Alex Olivera, show examples and explain the pinstriping procedure. Several SSCC members have already had Alex create unique designs on their Corvettes, and maybe we'll see more on our cars.
Bill Wenzel gave a rundown of the recent Wings and Wheels tour, and Elaine Kemp described the recent Back to the Beach weekend. Both events should be on everyone's to-do list. You'll hear more about these activities later.
Mal Smith had an enormous display of clothes and Corvette items that could be purchased on the spot. She also took many orders for more shirts. The ladies' shirts were a huge hit. This is the time to be sporting t-shirts and polo shirts with the club logo and perhaps your name. See Mal if you want something special, and you can also get in touch with her if you'd like the logo and/or name put on a shirt that you already have.
